The North Face Pinnacle Project: Manchester

Saving the best til last, the final leg of the North Face Pinnacle project arrives in Manchester this Saturday (6th Oct). Created in conjunction with JD the project pays an modern homage to the brand’s first store launch in San Francisco where the Grateful Dead performed and Hells Angels made sure nobody stole anything! Taking place on the suitably urban yet adventurous setting of the top of a carpark those lucky enough to be attending will get to see the local lad/legend Bugzy Malone performing with Nadia Rose, Levelz and Mouse Outfit also being on the bill. There will also be a run of 66 Nuptse jackets that have been customised by design collective Tape Over featuring limited edition Manchester-coordinates duct tape. Unavailable anywhere else in the world, the only way attendees to the event will be able to get their hands on one of the 66 pieces will be by scaling the rooftop boulder wall.

As well as the risking your life (well dignity) for an amazing jacket and getting to check out some cutting edge live music there will also be demos from The North Face athletes, an urban photo exhibition from Nightscape, some heritage product expos and lots more exciting stuff.

Tickets for this fantastic event are free from JD so for a chance to get them head over to jdsports.co.uk/page/tnf-hub
