Lee and Stutterheim venture into rubberised denim

This whole collection reminds us of what would be worn on set of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly if it was set in the Peak District, which is actually a pretty good concept now we think of it.

The good people at Lee have recently revealed their collaboration with the rainwear aficionado’s at Stutterheim. The efforts from the partnership have resulted in a collection of weather-ready garb, and no it’s not made from denim, although it does look very similar.

The collaboration brings together the beloved heritage workwear style of Lee with Stutterheim’s technical know-how. Lee’s most iconic designs receive the Scandi treatment and are modernised with Stutterheim’s rubber-coated materials, that being said, there’s not a pair of rubber jeans, that would be silly. There is a pair of rubber dungarees though.

All of Lee’s styles have been embossed with a faux-twill design and coloured in shades of denim blue to pay homage to the brands’ origins. If you have career dreams of being a lumberjack in a very rainy country, this collab is a godsend for you.

The final results of the collaboration take the shape of 7 pieces, including hats, jackets, overalls and bags. The collection is set to release on the 26th of September and will be available from here and here.
