GOODTIMES tease new ’90s inspired sportswear capsule

At Proper, we quite like wasting days. At GOODTIMES, it appears they don’t, at least by the metric of their new capsule, titled ‘No Day Wasted.’ Presumably, because in a black-and-white world people wearing sportswear would use it to play sports and therefore not waste the day.

Just as you’d expect from the good people at GOODTIMES they’ve done a good job of this new capsule.

The collection seems to have taken significant inspiration from ’90s football shirts and shorts, specifically the ones produced by the brand with the three stripes. Lots of central logos in the GOODTIMES font that already looks pretty similar to that particular brand, adding to the authenticity of the whole thing.

The incentive to purchasing one of these GOODTIMES shirts over a used ’90s football shirt, in our view, is that some bloke hasn’t been playing 7-a-side in it week in, week out. Covering it in all the bodily fluids that come with that.

The garments seem to be of what you’d probably call a relaxed active cut, which we’re a big fan of – you know those shirts with the sleeves down to the elbow. Yeah, those. Each item is made of dry-fit polyester that has the benefit of wicking sweat away. Meaning when you’re not wasting your day, you’re also not stinking it out.

There’s not much else you need to know really, may as well just have a look.

The No Days Wasted collection is set to launch on the 20th of September here.
