If you’re a fanatic for trainers, but also mushrooms pixies and elves, this new release from KARHU will probably get you excited.
That’s because the Finnish footwear brand are introducing a footwear capsule titled ‘Mystic Forest’ that draws the inspiration for its design from tales of folklore.
Finland, for those of you who are unaware (us before reading the press release,) is a nation of that has a rich history in folklore. Apparently, Finnish children grow up hearing tales about mystical forest bogeymen and that’s where KARHU got their inspiration for this series of trainers, naturally.
The brand have selected tree, sorry I mean three, silhouettes for the collection, these include The Fusion 2.0, the Aria 95 and two separate colourways of the Legacy 96.
All of the shoes feature the typical deep, rich colours KARHU are fabled for. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that a brand from the happiest country in the world aren’t afraid of some nice tones.
The Mystic Forest pack is set to launch on September the 13th here.
