Puma’s Palermo is a Terrace Classic

While the world and his wife embraces the type of footwear worn by your daft Uncle back in the early 80s, there are less obvious choices out there than the brand with the three stripes, and you don’t need to look too far either.

Puma’s Palermo shares a similar DNA to that of the Samba by adidas. Little wonder really, given the brands were founded by brothers in the same German town of Herzogenaurach.

Let’s focus on the connoisseur’s choice here, in the shape of the Puma Palermo. Equally at home on the foot of a safe-standing fanatic as they would be on a fashion-forward female embracing their brat summer. And that’s the last time I’ll use that phrase on here.

Suede in suave hues, a tasty gum sole with just the right amount of opacity, yes I said opacity. What’s not to love?
