Based in New Delhi, India, Kardo is still a relative newcomer to the UK, despite having been around for more than a decade.
Their SS25 range, is entitled LIKE WATER, and it includes the brand’s first small capsule specifically designed for women.
Kardo continues to champion craft textiles made by artisans across India, dedicating collections to them and their skills. The collection is a celebration of 57 artisans or artisan communities across 25 different locations in India, with 15 different craft techniques among 108 fabrics.
SS25 reflects the calm and serene nature of water, with soft pastel colours, gently made lightweight fabrics, all designed to be soothing to the eye and soul.
Much like water which works in a continuous cycle, each piece in the collection carries an intricate journey from raw material to finished product, all fully traceable while celebrating the incredible artisanal techniques involved.
